The Wandy Station is a powerful WiFi & IP HotSpot Internet Gateway that can control all your accounting, security and bandwidth management for public internet services. It can be used for almost any type of network. The PL antenna/housing in combination with the V634 is mostly used as a main controller in a large hotspot network. The PL has one card already installed: ready for 5Ghz use

Public Internet Services
The Wandy Station is suitable for any business or private Internet Access Service. It will easily operate in standalone situations as well as in Wide Area of Metro area sized infrastructure networks.

Seamless integration
All modules are based on international standard RFC’s and therefore flexibility and excellent cooperation in any network environment are guaranteed.

Bandwidth manager
Data bandwidth management (classfull queueing) per IP / protocol / subnet / port / firewall mark; HTB, PCQ, RED, SFQ, byte limited queue, packet limited queue; hierarchical limitation, CIR, MIR, contention ratios, dynamic client rate equalizing (PCQ).
Again with the Bandwidth management module, the way’s to manage traffic are excellent. Not only bandwidth can be managed per subscriber, but also per protocol or service on the Internet. For example subscriber misuse via Bittorrent or Kazak can be put to a minimum or even stopped. On the other hand services like Voice or Video over IP can be given a fixed bandwidth and a higher priority. This guaranties real Quality of Service to (paying) subscribers on important services in the network, while not denying less important services (like the mentioned P2P activities) for other users.

Universal Address Translation
Zero effort connections for your customers, with no need to configure IP settings on the PC. The Universal Address Translation module will accept any fixed IP or DHCP setting on a connection. The HotSpot will keep track of custom IP settings on clients and translate the settings for your customer. Nothing needs to be explained, just connect, Log-in and start surfing the Internet.

HotSpot – AAA + Radius
The Wandy Station has a build in AAA module, that can be operated and maintained as a standalone HotSpot. Accounts can be on basis of used time, used traffic and/or post paid subscriptions. All forms of accounting can be mixed withexternal Radius services.
Customized login pages can easily be made with any standard html editor.
With the Walleted Garden you can give access to Internet sites without having to log-in. In the Walleted Garden your future customers can “try-out” your HotSpot service. What better way to promote your HotSpot?

WinBox management
It’s Operating system supports controlled access to networks networks in a very flexible way. The Wandy Station seamlessly intergrades in multi vendor networks. All modules are RFC compliant and therefore the Wandy Station guaranties flexibility and excellent cooperation in any network environment. To control the Wandy Station a Windows based System Management program is provided, WinBox. This program is a part of the system and comes free of charge with all Wandy Station products.
The WinBox system management program enables you to manage the HotSpot from anywhere over the world. All is needed is an Internet connection.
WinBox connects over a secured tunnel to the Wandy Station. In WinBox you will find that the Operating System can be configured in a very comfortable manner.

Support
Any network engineer with some knowledge about routing and switching can operate and configure a Wandy Station within a few day’s. Off cause if additional support is needed we gladly help you on your way. The first year support by mail, phone ore remote login on all Wandy Stations is free of charge.
